The Great Sandwich Showdown: Blimpie Subs vs. Subway vs. Jimmy John’s
When it comes to sandwiches, there are a lot of options out there. Three of the top choices are Blimpie Subs, Subway, and Jimmy John. But which one is the best? In this blog post, we’ll pit these three popular sandwich shops against each other in a battle to see who makes the best sub. Who will come out on top? Read on to find out!
Blimpie Subs
Blimpie has been around since 1964, so they know a thing or two about making sandwiches. Their bread is baked fresh daily and their meats are sliced fresh in-store. Plus, you can customize your sandwich however you like with a wide variety of fresh toppings to choose from. All that sounds great, but how does the finished product taste?
In a word: delicious! The bread was soft and fluffy, and the meats were perfectly seasoned. The veggies were all fresh and crunchy. Overall, we were very impressed with the flavor and quality of the ingredients used in our Blimpie sub. On a scale of 1 to 10, we’d give it an 8.5. Not bad at all!
Maybe you haven’t seen Blimpie Subs in a while but they still lurk all over the country. Some of them are in gas stations. Their fresh baked pieces of bread really come through in the clutch. There are Blimpie locations on the east coast that I frequent. After all, it’s America’s Sub Shop.
Subway
Subway is one of the most popular sandwich shops out there, thanks in part to their “Fresh Fit” options which are low in calories and fat. They also offer a wide variety of vegetables and meats to choose from, as well as several different types of bread. So how does their sandwich stack up against the competition?
Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our Subway sandwich. The bread was dry and crumbly, and the veggies were wilted and soggy. The meat wasn’t anything special either. Overall, we’d give it a 5 out of 10. Sorry, Subway—better luck next time!
Jimmy John’s
Jimmy John’s is another popular sandwich shop that’s known for its quick service and reasonably priced sandwiches. They offer a variety of meats, cheeses, and veggies to choose from, as well as eight different types of bread. So how does their sandwich measure up?
We were pleasantly surprised by our Jimmy John’s sandwich! The bread was soft and flavor-packed, and the meats and veggies were all fresh and full of flavor. It was definitely one of the tastier sandwiches we’ve had recently. We’d give it an 8 out of 10—well done, Jimmy John’s!
Conclusion
So which sandwich shop reigns supreme? In our opinion, it’s a close tie between Blimpie Subs and Jimmy John’s—but if we had to pick just one winner, we’d go with Blimpie Subs thanks to their delicious bread and flavor-packed meats and veggies. However, all three sandwich shops are definitely worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a quick bite! If you’re looking for a fast-food alternative these give you more options.
